Thanks for those links Cyn!! I download one from panada software over the weekend, but I'm still getting things popping up. Diamond.com whenever I'm on here and cheaptickets.com whenever I'm on the United Airlines site. (I've been on that trying to plan a trip). It's so frustrating!!!

You are welcome!

I had seen your post over the weekend, didn't have time to respond after I read it but had the time to put the list together this morning...then forgot to link to it for ya.

I know Less has never allowed pop-ups on the board and I'm keeping my fingers crossed you get those problems taken care of.

It definitely spyware of some kind, every thing that pops up is a site I've been to that it related to the site I'm currently on. A new window opens up in IE, usually it's diamond.com, but I'm almost always on this site when I'm on line! Last night I was trying to book a flight at united.com and cheaptickets.com kept opening up. Otherwise, my computer is running fine, hopefully I can get it fixed up tonight. Thanks again!!

I've downloaded the panda software anti-virus plus spyware and the spybot, and I'm still having the same problems. The most annoying is the message box that comes up saying my computer has detected a thread from the blackworm virus and I need to install malaware program. I click okay to get the box to go away and a page comes up to download winfix anti virus and anti spyware. UGH!!!

Now I'm trying the lavasoft ad-aware, if this doens't help, I'm out of ideas.

Remember to keep your antivirus, adware, etc. programs updated with the newest definitions!

You can also try using Firefox, available from mozilla.com. It's an alternative to IE, with much better security. I've just downloaded it and no more probs with the horrible spyware. I had even bought Webroot Spyware sweeper which is meant to be the best around but it wasn't helping.

Just my .02 the only weird thing though at the moment is that recently posted forums aren't showing up green like they used to. Still, being able to use my back button again without it going to all sorts of popup sites is good!
