Then take the new head and press it over the stone, pick up the head and the stone stays in the head.. Most heads can be adjusted in our out slightly, especially tiffany style heads, to make the fit perfect.. And now the short answer.. Measure the inside to inside edge of the prongs and they should be nearly the safe as the diameter of the stone.. _________________________ Steve Animal Charms Animal Jewelry that gives back
