Center is 2.36ct, 8.30mm, M, VS set in a platinum repro from SingleStone. I'm asking $12k for the whole ring, but would sell the diamond loose for $9500. The diamond has exceptionally beautiful faceting and teensy-weensiest of culets.

I would not be disappointed one bit if the 3.06 transitional sells first and I keep this ring. I love it a lot \:\)

Well that is no way in my budget. I would definitely need the 5 year layaway plan.

I hear ya - it's a lot of money (though OWD comps at $13k+ for a loose stone with comparable stats)

Thanks for posting this! It's nice to get a different perspective from someone who has experience with old stones. Since my preference is for whiter more steely stones, I was pretty much sold before I saw it! Hehe..

What does OEC mean?

Was the ASHA used in this photo a version 5 or a version 6?
