AdaBeta27 AdaBeta27 Afficionado Registered: 08/29/06 Posts: 696 Loc: Dreary Station, NW PA	I posted this here to get the attention of anyone awaiting an item from him. ebay: tbone_is_back Michael Bay's Jewelry Was selling very heavily discounted Moissanite, and Moiss jewelry as well as diamond jewelry. Just got NARU'd for unknown reasons. I bought some jewelry, received it, it was gorgeous, but I just paid for two loose Moissanites. Remains to be seen whether I get them. Contact info: It was published in all his auctions, which have been terminated by ebay, so I don't feel I'm publishing anything confidential. (BTD mods can decide.) I bought an emerald cut diamond, he sent me a radiant cut. I emailed him, he asked me to send it back for a full refund. I sent it back, he said that I must leave good feedback before he would refund me.....So naive me did it. He then slammed me with negative feedback. Never shopped with him again. I forgot all about that until you just posted the above. I did get the refund though. But also received negative feedback that I was a remorse buyer....

I have heard of sellers that go NARU and everything is fine. I hope you get your stones! I then got an email back saying they didn't have anymore in stock so they were refunding my money. I think I got lucky that time but I never bought from them again. It was nice that they indeed made good on a moissie pendant that was no longer available, but I had a feeling I might not get that lucky next time. I hope you either receive your moissies or at least a refund. It was also a size 9.5. I emailed him and he said, sorry- send it back at your expense and I don't refund shipping. I took the ring to the jewelers, had them write up a report and paid $100.00 for the cleaning and sizing. I then faxed the report to paypal after I filed a disput and they gave me the $100.00 back. _________________________ Fire Chief Victoria is ready for duty!!!

They've sent me a tracking number that checks out. Everyone: Be sure to get a screen shot or a printout of every ebay auction. The reason is you need to be able to prove the PayPal buyer protection amount for that auction. If you can't prove otherwise, PayPal will try to knock you down to the default $200. When ebay sellers go NARU, all their auctions are cancelled PLUS ebay also blocks access to all the completed ones, as well. At this point, I can't even see those acutions for the goods I've paid for! Read this thread, below, and others at Ebay. Ebay and PayPal are trying to weasel out of any responsibility. Essentially, PayPal is a worthless warranty for the buyer unless you pay by credit card through them. It's seller protection is always a worthless warranty, IMO. I've been on both the buying and selling end of this for some time.
