It will be a couple of weeks before I can post a pic because we are working on the final details, but a long a my original ering is in great shape (I believe it is), I'll be trading my 3 stone oval for a 3 stone princess/trillion. The price difference is just a few grand as long as my diamonds and ring are as I described.
The oval is currently 2.00 center H SI2 with .40 H SI1 side stones, for a tcw of 2.80. The new ring has a 3.51 G VS center with .75 G VS each side, for a tcw of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am SO excited!!! Pics as soon as I can.

Oh, fantastic, MsT! I'm very much looking forward to your photos! Are you planning to keep the ring as is or reset the stones?! How exciting for you!!!  Heck, it's exciting for me, so I can't imagine how thrilled you must be.

I am going to keep it as-is. Truthfully, I'll probably upgrade again in another 4 years. One of my very best friends owns a pawn shop (where we bought my original e-ring). I have told him to watch for a hot deal and one walked in the door last week. He bought the ring at a steal -- legit from the original owner-- and extended me the kindness of a cheap trade. Also, the PC has one tiny, teeny little laser drill spot on the underside. It doesn't bother me at all and the laser treatment brought the stone from a SI2 to a VS. The previous owner just couldn't stand seeing a pinpoint carbon spot and had my friend send the stone out for treatment. He said treated stones are a bit slower to move, and he knows how much I will enjoy the larger ring.
PC's aren't my favorite shape and the ring is more geometric than I usually prefer, but I just can't resist!!! It is a honker and will satisfy a current need to change....
