FINALLY! Engaged for four years...Bought a house in February, been through the highs, the lows, the fights, the make ups, melding our families.....
The crying, the laughing, the bills, the money, the religion, the sickness and the health...and we finally determined, we really DO want to spend the rest of our lives together!!
We set our date. May 9th, 2009. Nothing big as we both have been married before. This will be a third for the both of us.
Beths Father passed away when she was 13 months oldm then I remarried in 1995, divorced in 1999.
Tony's first wife left him with his son when he was just 3 and literally disappeared for 6 years changing names and SSN's. He finally found his son when he was turning 10, he had a completely different name, and didnt even know that Tony existed. He thought that the man that his Mom was with was his father. During the time that they were missing, Tony remarried, and it fell apart due to drug usage on the wifes part (Miami was too much for her to handle).
Tony and I mat in 2003, and have been unseperable ever since. He KIND of asked, but no really in 2004 to "be mine". I never really have gotten proposed to, and I always tease him about it. I assume that he will get around to it one day....LOL.
We will be getting Married in Destin FL as this is where my Parents live, and we want a Beach Wedding and FL is Tony's Favorite place in the whole world. We are alot closer to my parents then we are to his. They live one block from the gulf coast. This will be a very simple and small wedding with close friends and family only (about 25 people). No shoes required....LOL! He will be in linen pants and a linen shirt, and I will wear an ivory Non formal wedding dress (halter empire waiste perferably).
So I am here stunned that we actually have a date, and that it is soon (to me at least). Of course, my mother is thrilled, My DD and to be step son are even more excited!! My sister is jumping up and down, and everyone is just as happy as can be. I am sitting here with the biggest grin on my face, looking beside me at my sleeping man and thinking "Wow, I really DO want to spend the rest of my life with him..."
So if any of you find any simple, light and airy wedding dresses for a beach wedding in a size 6 (I am really a size 2) then please post pics for me!! I need all the help that I can get as I SUCK at dress picking!!!
And if any of my Sparklie sisters live near the area and happen to have the date open, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have you join us at our wedding!!!! So please let me know!!!!

 awwwwwwwwwwwww! i LOVE weddings! maybe maryl, lemurgirl and the fabulous MsT can make it?? (please don't poke fun...geography was NOT my best subject so i'm really not sure how far all the ladies are...i just know FL is FL  )
