Was looking at vintage wedding gowns on Ebay, and came across this gorgeous gown. I thought the design was beautiful, as well as the color, and and the design incorporates modern elements with some old-fashioned romantic flair. I personally love the princess lines of the bodice, the flattering neckline, and the back of the skirt has become very popular of late. Its just a very feminine and flattering design, so I thought maybe you'd want to see it to store for future design usage.

I even like the headpiece! Its glamourous, lady-like, feminine, and just plain pretty. I strongly dislike the lingerie trend in wedding gowns that is so popular right now. I think a bride should look like a bride.

my third? or my FOURTH \:o and current! 1st wedding (child bride) wore traditional wedding gown, lots of lace, seed pearls, train, etc... The 2nd wedding was the only one that I didn't either wear white or ivory (powder blue floor length for that one)....for the third it was Jessica McClintock - not traditional - tea length, off shoulder, chiffon, bottom of dress that was sheer past my knees (lining went to right to the top of my knees), and 4th (and LAST dammit) was not a wedding dress, but was ivory, floor length, thin straps that crisscrossed in back, had a little floral embroidery in light gold and faint rose tones scattered around bodice...empire waist, very short train ;\) whew!

And here I thought I was the only one railing against the trend in ball gowns and nightgowns for wedding gowns. I love strapless gowns for a prom or other formal occasion, and sexy lingerie is great in the bedroom. Please consider that the bride is supposed to look special for her wedding, not like she is a "professional". Is that too harsh?
