A little background....When my husband and I got engaged, he couldnt afford anything at the time, so my mom gave him my great grandmother's diamond to be reset into a new engagement ring. I got the ring appraised, but at the time I thought that Old European Cut mean "old piece of crap." Turns out that it is a really nice diamond. I've since gotten a big ol' three stone princess but I was either going to sell my old diamond or reset it....I decided to have it reset in a classic tiffany style ring and I love it!
