i feel really weird to bring this topic up again, but has anyone heard from rubystar yet? i know it was mentioned that she might not be well. that is why i feel bad asking for about this. can anyone give me advice about a what i should do regarding a db purchase i made from her. it is just about a month since the purchase and i don't know what to do. i don't know if i should wait longer or try to get a refund through my credit card company. actually, i don't even know if it was shipped and got lost in the mail. this was my first db purchase, i don't know what my options are. i don't mean to offend anyone here by asking about this, and i am sorry if i have. i do hope everything is well with rubystar and her family.

I would start the dispute with your CC company. If she contacts you, you can always cancel the dispute. Why wait? It is your money.

does ANYONE on here have a phone number for her that you could call and make sure she's ok? ETA: I know that in my DB listings, I have a phone number that shows up when someone emails me (I think) at least I know that I put my number in there...maybe someone (Less?) has access to get the number? \:\(

I'd rather do a dispute then call someone. What if something horrible happened? How uncomfortable to bother someone or a family in such a direct way unless you personally know them. The disputing CC company will send her a letter which is a less intrusive reminder. Then she or her husband if she is unable to respond personally, can act accordingly.

True...but the Administrator of the site can retrieve it if she entered it to begin with...

A month is a long time to wait to hear something. So it seems like the dispute route is the way to go. And if something is wrong and preventing her from reading e-mails etc., (hopefully that's not the case, though) then I don't think she would take it personally that you chose to go that way.
