Hi everyone. I got a pearl necklace as a gift from my grandmother and to be honest, I have NO clue of what hey are. They are NOT perfectly round, more like an ovoid shape but they are all uniform, so no idea of what he shape is called?
also, some blemishes are apparent, but it's ok because they are not noticeable unless u inspect pearl by pearl and no one but I would do that.
Also, the clasp is just like the one pearlunar uses (I've been looking at their ebay site and plan on buying a couple from them!!!)
and the color is creamy white, with SOME iridiscent color in it. looks a bit pinkish and a bit blueish and greenish, depending on the light.
anyway, I measured the necklace and it measured 40cm WITH the clasp so that should be around 16"
modelling pics!!
btw, considering these pearls are about 7.5mm for the big ones (measured just like they are, IF I am to put the flatter part, which is the stringed part on the floor it would be around 9mm)
do you think btd's 16" 10mm would look ok on me?
thanks!!!

Very pretty!
They are freshwater pearls, off round (button, bread, baroque are all used to describe off round pearls), and they have nice luster. It is a lovely gift!
You can easily wear BTD's 10mm Amaras.

aw thanks hun!! and I am in LOVE with ur pic, seriously, I thought it was a magazine ad!!!
I wish I had more to post but I haven't bought any yet. Plan on buying a lavender from pearlunar and a black from btd!!
I think I like the "choker" style.
got a cheap $8 at forever 21 to try how a long one looked (with a knot at the bottom that can be undone) but it was not me!
thankfully I tried before I spent hundreds on it!

i put my pearls on last and take them off first. don't put them on immediately after you apply lotion or perfume. i wipe mine with a soft damp cloth after each wear and they have their own silk pouches to sleep in.
