This set is on the petite side because I wanted something to make the stone pop but it's still a very substantial set w/a good weight to it as seen in the side shot. The 18k feels like butta on the finger and makes it a bit more luxurious. Thanks for the kind words ladies $\:\)$ MrsGotRocks: I was a little nervous about the head as well and whether or not it would be too high. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy and low set it actually is in real life, it doesn't snag on anything when I wear it which was also a concern. I cannot recommend this setting enough!
