I just bought a gorgeous cashmere Nygard jacket - 1/2 price that I plan to wear with one of the two "burberry like" scarves I picked up today. It should take me into November, it's the newer double breasted empire waist I so love it and hate to admit, I'm hoping it will get cold soon.

also, I'm seeing a ton of dark purple - yummy!!! I want to get a cowl neck short sleeve shirt to wear under all of my boring conservative work suits.

I love cowl neck blouses & sweaters.

I love all the rich colors that are out.

Nice. I have alot of cashmere, you can wear it almost year round here, depends on the gauge, and I have plenty of variety. Cashmere you can NEVER go wrong with! I have two Irish cardigans coming in the next few days, and am finishing knitting several sweaters. As we generally wear just jeans and sweaters, one can never have enough of either! LOL.

Actually, for me a couple of new swimsuits is provoking the greatest issue as so many are just tacky and I don't want anything matronly either, you know? The Miraclesuits, to me, are kinda on the matronly area...too high up the back for me, and just ???? Anyone got any ideas for a sharp one piece?

Wench, I've always had good luck with J.Crew bathing suits. This season they have some pretty one piece suits, though they do go kind of high up on the back.

I really like the two bandeau styles, as well as the Lomellina ruffled suit.

Thanks! I will check them out, I always forget about them!

I also meant to say, I am buying an Irish tweed gored skirt from Orvis this season...meant to do it last year and waited too long!

I think the tweed skirts look so classic, and the gored one has a really nice flattering shape to it. I also like the Orvis tweed split skirt. If I didn't live in Florida, I would buy one.

They are fantastic! I have several of their Scottish Tweed hacking jackets, camel hair blazer and skirt, their Harris Tweed button front skirt, and another tweed skirt....they are all first rate! I also own 3 of their River Road cabled cashmere turtlenecks, and 5 of their tieneck cashmere sweaters. Let's just say when I was working I had ALL my clothing from Orvis for winter/fall and Chicos for Spring/summer with a few JJILL thrown in.

What are some of my favorite pair of pants are their Irish Donegal Tweed pants...which are Lined!!!! And their Prince of Wales plaid pants look fab with anything!

I hope I'm done buying clothes for the next while, but I do need a good maternity winter coat. They're soooo expensive though! I'm thinking about this one, but I dunno if it'll be good for Canadian winter for when I visit. http://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=989560070&MasterCategory_Id=MC8

I've never bought anything from Chico's, but J.Jill has some lovely things. I like how so many of their pieces seem so light and airy. Someday when I move to a cold climate, I'm going to go nuts buying cashmere and tweed. I get excited thinking about it! \:D
