So, over the past few years, I've been collecting handbags, but I find myself drawn to the same brand over and over. I've just acquired my fourth Chloe a couple of weeks ago on eBay, and I got her for a steal!

My obsession started a few years back when another member (who will remain un-named, but should know who she is if she should read this \:\) ) posted one for sale on the MGR. Back then I couldn't bring myself to spend the cash on it. I talked and talked about it until finally my DH listened and got me my first one for our anniversary three years ago.

Anyone else find yourself drawn to the same brand(s)?

OMG, it's fabulous!!! can you please please post inside shots, too?

i've been in love with this one chloe bay shoulder bag for a while, and i saw it once on ebay in a camel/tan shade, got it authenticated and everything by tPF. i meant to snipe bid on it but then i got stuck in a meeting

K-Mart. I buy all of my handbags at clearance sales at K-Mart. Yes, you're supposed to laugh. But it's true. I have ruined so many good bags that I finally faced up to the reality that I am a handbag killer and K-Mart is all I deserve. That, or Black & Decker. ;-D

That's a beautiful Chloe. I know I would not treat her right, though... sigh... (retrieves dirty oil-change rag from toolbag, er, handbag, and wipes away a tear...)

I found myself buying LV over and over...until I landed a Birkin and a Kelly. Now I obsess over Hermes and am saving for my next one. It is an expensive obsession, much to DH’s dismay. The good news is the next bag is under 3K….as opposed to twice or more. It isn’t going to happen for at least a year, but I can wait.

I love that Chloe!!! What draws you to the brand?

Well, I just love the style of Chloes to begin with, then the leather, quality, and craftsmanship are worth every penny.

This made me laugh, as most of my purses came from Ross...they were leather and not bad looking, but I too am rough on purses to spend a lot of money on a real beauty....however, after sneaking a peak at all of the pretty purses on here, I have purchased two nice (a summer and a winter) leather purses from DB.... and yes, you can tell the difference... but I still use my "not quite so special" leather purses for when I am going somewhere with the furbabies, traveling in an airplane, camping, etc.!
