Casey Casey The Imperial Diamond Registered: 04/24/08 Posts: 6002 Loc: Oregon in the trees	I went to a new (to me) local jeweler here yesterday to get an estimate for a ring and they have a high end consignment case that I had to check out.... OMG.... now you guys know that antiquey rings are not my thing, but they have the most gorgeous (over three carat) OMC ring I have EVER seen. I'm not a great judge of the warmer colors, but my guess would be K/L. He said the stone is VS and it is GORGEOUS and the setting was really beautiful... obviously antique, but not ornate at all, just lots of little sparkly diamonds... It was brought in by an 80 yr old man that bought it for his wife way back when, but apparently she seldom wore it because it looked in excellent condition. The asking price is $24,500, which is 1/2 the appraised value.... Erica.... if you are reading this - you'd flip!!!!! I never thought an OMC would flip my switch like that one did. They also have a large OEC stone in a setting, but the setting is over the top IMHO, so I didn't care for it like I did the OMC. They also had a NEW 4-5 ct elongated cushion, unheated sapphire in the most gorgeous color of blue surrounded by diamonds.... it was only $12,500 - LOL..... but I'm in the wrong thread for that one!!!!! Maybe if I ask if I could work there for free, I could work the sapphire off before we moved again!!!!
