I have expressed my belief before that Diamond Nexus Labs sells Signity made CZ stones. We know they have no labs. So the question is, from whom do they buy their CZ?

This is what a true Princess cut looks like (courtesy of BTD). Pay close attention to the faceting pattern

Here is a picture from Diamond Nexus' website of their "Princess Cut Signature Series"

Do you see the huge difference in faceting pattern? Pay particularly close attention to the faceting pattern in the middle of the DNL stone that looks like a star.

Here is the diagram of a signity princess star as found on the signity website here:

http://enlightened.swarovski.com/en/information_product.php?id=52&shapeid=57&onlythis=57

Here it is blown up:

Do you see the similarity in the facet patterns between the signity star and the Diamond Nexus princess?

Maybe this might make it a little more obvious:

Proof positive that DNL sells princess cut CZ's created by Signity.

Here is one more picture of a signity princess cut (I know its a princess cut signity because its my picture). Notice how the faceting pattern is identical to the Diamond Nexus CZ and the Signity Diagram.

What is Diamond Nexus Charge for these stones?

$148 = 1ct
$293 = 2ct
$449 = 3ct

What is their cost in just the stone itself? With the volume they are doing, probably $1 - $3 per stone, possibly less.

Here are just a few more examples from Diamond Nexus website. Notice how they all have the same signity cut:

According to DNL's claims:

"Diamond Nexus gems are so close to natural diamonds that most gemologists require scientific testing equipment to tell the difference."

Based on my examples above, would anyone agree with this statement? All I needed was a laptop, internet connection, and an internet browser which are all hardly scientific testing equipment \:\) .

Haha! Get 'em, Mike!

To say they're shady would be the understatement of the century.
