Oh yeah, that's the route I'm going in the future!! \:\)

ETA - Wink also said that the condition my box came in was "NOT" an unusual occurance. Consider that fair warning for those of you who opt out of insurance. I'm glad I had it!

LOL @ Wink's video: "Put... some... tape... on... the ... box" It was just the weary tone of the delivery, Wink. It's like "Let me say this ver-ry slo-o-o-o-ly, so you get it..." But I would not laugh if the item had been lost. It's only funny b/c it had a happy ending. :-)

For your boxes I have a smile, a maniacal laugh AND a box cutter!

I love them when they come, and the are NOT reusable after opening. They ALSO always have the contents in them when they arrive.

I posted a thread some two or three years ago when a ring was sent in a plain envelope and the stone was either missing or damaged, I do not remember which. It is one the board here somewhere.

Wink, I'm cracking up at that image! \:D At least mine was better than the plain envelope, although not by much!

LOL! I was in the middle of packing up my office for the move to my new MUCH smaller office. I WAS weary, to say the least, but I felt it an important message to share.

At least this box had a return address on it and instructions in it. We sometimes get a box with no address and no note, or something like, "Here is the ring we talked about, C.

Now, if it has been more than an hour or two since I talked with "C" it is more than likely I have talked about another ring with another "C", and if it has been a few days, like it always is, I may not remember what was talked about and for sure I do not remember who "C" is.

So, we put the job envelope in the safe and await until we get an angry email about where the heck is my ring and we ask if she might have signed a note with the letter "C". We have waited as long as six months before someone calls, then we have to tell them it will be two more weeks until we do the work.

Sigh.
