cultured pearls. Pearls of this quality are only available
at finer stores such as Tiffany & Co. or Mikimoto for much
higher prices. We import our pearls directly from China to
avoid middlemen costs, so we can pass the savings on to you. All
Platinum Cove� pearls have thick nacre and luster grades of
high or better,
with a minimum of 2 years of culturing, to ensure a lifetime and
beyond of beauty.We
have chosen to import cultured Akoya pearls from China instead
of Japan for one simple reason: The relatively pollution-free
waters of China have now proven to be a more
ideal environment than the increasingly polluted waters of Japan
for growing cultured pearls. The pearls thrive in the
cleaner water, and the result is more pearl yield and better
pearls.
All Platinum Cove� pearl jewelry come with their own jewelry appraisal card from
an independent gemological laboratory (Elliot Gemological Labs)
to assure you of the quality of your purchase.
